9 and under age division

Rules Update

Starting on May 10, 2008 Play Top Gun Sports 9u age division will offer Modified Bases for its Baseball Program.

Our recent survey of 9u teams replied that a number of teams stated that they would like to play Modified Bases.

Starting with the Top Gun Baseball Super Saver Tournament we will offer Modified Bases with

all our 9u tournaments.

• 1.  Rule Revision to the 9u program are as follows:
• 2.  Players can play off bases up to ten (10) feet. Line will be marked at each base.
• 3.  Players can steal after the Ball crosses the Home Plate, Penalty for leaving early is runner is charge with an out, and immediate dead ball, no runners may advance.

• 4.  Batter Runner can run on 3rd strike.
• 5.  Balks may be called with open bases.
